Warmoth neck on a ESP PJ bass?

    Has anyone used a Warmoth 4 string neck (or other Fender style replacement neck) on a ESP LTD vintage PJ bass?

    I wonder if neck pocket/mounting holes are the same as a Fender or Warmoth replacement body.

    I've never played one of the ESP LTD vintage PJs, but it seems like it could be an inexpensive back up bass, and maybe more with some upgrade capability.

    Should be the same. Buddy of mine has an ESP neck on a Fender P body, fits like a glove.

    What problem would you be trying to fix by swapping the neck out?

    I actually like the feel of Ltd Necks and have descovered I prefer jumbo frets.

    The low price ESP PJ I saw had a P width neck, and I prefer J necks.

    My main basses have Warmoth J necks, and I am somewhat used to the way they feel, etc.

    Not sure if I'll get the ESP, but thanks for your input.
