The Welsh Post Hardcore group Funeral for a Friend featuring Warwick Endorser Richard Boucher and Framus Endorser Gavin Burrough is one of the most important bands of the entire genre, no questions asked. Known for its explosive sound, the band delivers a high-energy blend of post hardcore, metal, indie rock, and pop elements.

In late 2012, the first single entitled “Best Friends and Hospital Beds“ was released as a foretaste of the band’s new album “Conduit”, which is now available in stores everywhere. “Best Friends and Hospital Beds” proves that the band’s melodic and catchy side is still an integral part of its sound. However, the album also sees the band moving towards a dry, raw and aggressive style. As a result, both fans of heavy-hitting sounds and intoxicating melodies will be enthralled by Funeral for a Friend’s new record.

The band will be promoting its new release by touring the United Kingdom in the coming days, and fans of heavy rock can look forward to a double sonic assault. Warwick Endorser Richard Boucher and Framus Endorser Gavin Burrough are the perfect team whose razor-sharp riffing propels the band and provides heavy bottom end by the truckload. The band’s current tour dates are listed below. All lovers of heavy music owe it to themselves not to miss these shows!

Here, you can watch the music video for the song "Best Friends and Hospital Beds", the first single release from "Conduit":
