Warwick RB Streamer Pickup adjustment

I bought a Warwick RB Streamer 5 -08 last week.
It had way too high action so I decided to lower the action and adjust the truss rod.

The problem is that if I try to lower the strings, they get too close to the bridge pickup.

How do I lower the pickup?
The neck also bows upwards, with the truss rod maxed. :meh:

Try tightening the PU screws. If they are stuck, they may be cross threaded.

Did you buy the bass used? The previous user may have super-glued or tampered with it.

Firstly, make sure you setup your Warwick to a comfortable playing setup, which should be close to factory standard. If they are too high, try lowering them. If they won't lower, try taking them to your local technician if you aren't comfortable further trouble shooting.

Keep us updated and feel free to PM me.

    All the best,
