The TB community was able to discuss a topic until it's natural death at 1K posts.

Congratulations to those who participated and were able to maintain a civil discussion.

And let's hear it for Delaware!

The P v J? Or the round V flats? Or the mix speakers V all the same?

I think this is first time any topic with two real sides went this far.

    Congratulations!

I'm proud to be a baassist. We discussed. A thread like this would have dropepd the ban hammer in 10 posts or less. I'z currently banned there. :bag: Again. :bag::bag:

I do think that part of our bassist nature has us more critical thinkers than guitarsists. Themz guitarists are very partisan, quick tempered, and think they're all brilliant. :meh:

With every possible respect you described most of humanity.

None of us perfect as much as we wish, or like to think we are.

LOL, I disagree. Singers and guitarists are 4-5x more likely to be prima donas than bassists. You know the guitarists we complain about for being psychotic, unreliable, crappy tone, bad temper, knows all about music despite being barely able to read tab, keeps saying THE POCKET all the damn time, etc? Not only is he your average member of the most guitar forums, he's a mod! :eyebrow:

I don't know any singers or guitar players like that. Your generalizations crack me up. I don't believe there is anything inherently *better* about people who play the bass guitar over other musical instruments, but maybe you were joking with those comments.

LOL, could just be my generally bad luck. My last couple of bands were all good natured folks. Before that, I used to deal with really egotistical and flaky singers+guitarists. Debated quitting more than a few times because I was getting tired of being "fired" by guys who were more harsh than the bosses that pay me. I had to LOL at being fired considering I wasn't being paid.

    And DuPont.

    And explosions.

Sidebar: There used to be a DuPont powderworks in Washington from 1909 to 1976. In reading the history of it, there were at least two large explosions with loss of life during the operation of the plant.

I once knew a didgereedoo player who hated bananas. But the real culprit was the death metal hurdy gurdy player who was always trying to pick fights with other hurdy gurdy players who liked surf music.

I assume you are referring to a particular thread that could have easily turned political and gotten locked: Income Inequality.

So, this is the thread where we don't actually discuss the topic any more, rather how much fun we had discussing the topic, right?

'Member that time when the guy said the thing with the other country and the bad analogy with the house n stuff? That was fun.

    Good times. I mean.......

Wait a minute!!!! Is that DELAWARE over there?????
