What amp is the bass player from The Skints using in this video? I've had a search through google and can't find it. If you can't be bothered to watch the video, it's 2u rackmount, has a silver front panel and a light-up 6 band EQ. He also has a plain 1u panel underneath it which appears to be where he is plugged in. Anyone shed any light on that as well?

  2. Looks like a Helborg Preamp by Warwick.

Liked the tune, loved the lady's voice, hated her hair and not one note from a bass could I hear. I could see him plucking away but try as I might I couldn't hear him at all.

You're kidding, right? I can hear the bass (while wearing headphones) just fine.

Pretty sure it's not a Warwick.

No clear shots of it. This is the best scrape I could get.

He's got it on FB. I've seen this before but can't name it from the top of my head.

It's got a fairly distinctive triangular knob arrangement on the left hand side and that light up EQ. I feel like it should be a pretty easy detective job but I'm stumped.

It's pretty dub - which you can sort of infer from his equalizer settings. If your system won't do the fundamentals, I don't hear much happening higher. I once mixed a CD like that. In the studio with the accurate monitors and the subs, the bass was almost overpowering. Take it out to a normal stereo, and you could barely hear it. We had to re-EQ everything with more mids and remix it.

Probably useful for pumping out the low end in a dub band.
