What are these chords? (guitar)

    "What I Like About You" by the Romantics

    The first 3 opening chords. I can tell the 1st is a high E, and the 4th and 5th are D and A. It's the 2nd and 3rd that I can't tell. (I used to think they were D and E, but there is something else strange going on).

    The guy is this video says Esus to E to A to D to A. His versions sounds right to me.

    And if you play just the notes that are special about those chords it sounds right as well. A Ab A D A, but I can't say I know for sure.

    I'm also hearing an A6 on the last chord. It's kind of a strange riff.
