There have been many of these threads.

I play Fender, Spector and Alembic but have also owned Washburn, Ibanez, Musicman, Schecter and Carvin.

All of them. Why would I limit my playing experience?

Just list Music Man. Forget the Ernie Ball part. I've played a 1983 Music Man Sabre for 20 years. Nothing else. Nothing got even close.

    Redundant thread.

And you didn't list my brands.

    Booh. :)

nobody ever remembers to include gretsch basses despite them having one of the best student models around - the junior jet.

If you search, you will find that most threads are redundant. New members might not realize that and often start a new thread without searching first.

Well, there's no G&L, and there's no MusicMan, so I would not be able to vote. Kind of missed some things there. That's the problem with these polls, usually.

And Steinberger, Washburn, Burns, Epiphone, Squire, Hudson, Sterling SUB, Shergold, Tokai, Ibanez. Loved them all.
The 3 basses I will never part with: Geddy Lee Jazz; Sterling SUB (2013); VM fretless. That's it. Of all the planks I've owned these 3 just seem right. The Hudson acoustic bass is pretty nice though.
Play what you love and you'll love what you play.
