Like the title says : what is your favorite cocktail?

Share it here and to make it a bit more interesting, share with us what the ingredients are and if possible show a picture of it :)

My favorite cocktail is Blue Blooded (sounds like something horrible, but it's very sweet).

These are the ingredients (for 1 person) :

25 ml gin (30 ml for some extra taste)
    25 ml passion fruit nectar
4 spheres of scoop ice (I prefer mango flavour)
    Some crushed ice
    2 teaspoons Blue Curacao

    How to make it :

Put all the ingredients except the Blue Curacao in a blender and blend it until it's a smooth mixture.

Put a spoon of crushed ice in a small and cold drinking glass and pour the mixture in the glass.

Gently pour the Blue Curacao over it and there you have it : your Blue Blooded cocktail :)

I used to like Gin & Tonic with a twist. That was my drink for a while.

These days I generally prefer Scotch or Irish Whisky. Sometimes neat, sometimes on the rocks, or sometimes in a whisky sour or whisky and coke, but Im trying to lay off the soda.
I recently used Virgils Root Beer and Jameson together, that was pretty good.

A not too sweet Long Island Iced Tea is always nice in my book. I'm also not apposed to the classics whiskey and coke, gin and tonic, or vodka and tonic.

I don't drink cocktails but I've been wanting to try a Flaming Dr. Pepper and a Tom Collins.

A Tom Collins is kind of like a sweeter version of the Gin & Tonic.
In cheaper establishments its typically gin & 7-up, as the soda takes the place of lemon juice, sugar, and carbonated water.

I generally drink good rum neat, or beer, preferably local.

When I do order a cocktail it's usually a Stoli Gimlet. I'm not sure if we're drinking Stoli again or not these days, but any good Vodka will do.

Mike, my favorite bartender makes the best gimlets in the world. He is very sparing with the lime juice.

I went through a phase of trying all the "old man drinks" and ended up liking Manhattans, Sidecars (with Crown), Gin Rickeys (I always liked Gin & Tonics and Vodka Tonics), and Old Fashioneds.

My favorite though ended up being a Rusty Nail. It became my cocktail of choice on those occasions when I had a cocktail.

About a year ago I started swapping the drambuie for amaretto making it a Godfather.

And when we go out for Italian food I'll generally order a Negroni.

I like drinks with Kahlua in them. I'm really spooked about getting a DWI, so if I am out and I am driving, I don't even have a single drink these days.

Other alcohols like tequila, scotch, bourbon, etc I just prefer to drink straight. Maybe some ice.

Gin & tonic slides down nicely, refreshing when sweaty from stage, but kicking it, Rye Whiskey, neat. Bulitt a current favorite.

Just started drinking Fernet Branca, packs a wallop and has some serious tastes to it, and then there's always Couvasier.

But I would rather see Herb and have a Fat Tire in preference to serious drinking.

I always made Gimlets The Long Goodbye style; half gin and half Rose's lime juice.

Usually, if I drink liquor, I drink it neat.
