I have been playing around with the order of these effects in my signal chain and was hoping to get some input on here.

    Here is what I have:

    Moogerfooger Ring Modulator
    MXR M89 Bass Over Drive
    EBS Octabass
    EBS Bass IQ Envelope Filter
    Boss CEB 3 Bass Chorus
    Akai Deep Impact

I never use the deep impact with any other effect, and usually place that last.

The way I am thinking about running the effects right now is like this:
    M89>Ring Mod>Octabass>Bass IQ>Chorus.

    Thoughts?

Usually octave / synth effects go early in the chain for best possible tracking. Then dirt, then modulation. I would just flip that Octabass to be first.

Octabass, envelope filter, overdrive, ring mod, chorus. Akai. I use this setup (different brands) and it sounds great.

I usually go tuner, octave, OD, dist, fuzz, modulation (chrous/flanger), delay, trem, synth, preamp then wah. I found this worked best for me and my tastes. I like everything going into my wah, that way I can sweep anything and everything that goes through it.

posted this many times before....very much worth the read!!

    http://www.gmarts.org/index.php?go=222

there is really no wrong way to order your effects, but that said there are some pedals that don't place nice in certain spots in the effects chain....experimentation is the key!!!

for example some Fuzz pedals don't play nice AFTER an wah...

but the article posted above will give you a better understanding...and give you a place to start!!

    If it were me probably

Octabass, IQ, overdrive, ring mod, chorus, Deep Impact
