Hi, I'm new to TB, I think it's great.
I've been playing for six years, but only musical theater and church gigs. Never until now have I looked into effects but I'm in a band and think it's time. So yes I'm a noob I suppose - please bear with me :)

We are playing Let's Groove Tonight by Earth Wind and Fire, and I want to achieve the sound of the bass accurately. Would a DOD fx25 be a good choice, or is there a different type of pedal to consider?

    Thanks!

That does sound good. I could get pretty close to that sound with my old EHX BMS. Not quite the same but a lot easier (and cheaper) than finding a deep impact.

I just found that my Zoom B3 makes that sound with the Monosynth synth ;).For only 140$ :bassist: .Tracks very well but only for one note at a time.
