Auld Lang Syne at a gig.
^^Followed by Mustang Sally with an encore of Wagon Wheel.
Probably Auld Lang Syne,
I'll know for sure in about 13 1/2 hours.
Happy New Years everybody!
Looking at the list-"Let's Go" by The Cars.
My sincere hope is to spend the majority of the day noodling. Happy new year!
Won't Get Fooled Again
If I'd kept up my old lifestyle it'd be:-
"Sunday Morning Coming Down"....Kris Kristofferson
That damn Wagon Wheel...getting butchered by bands across the nation.
Rope by the Foo Fighters. Been learning it this week.
Rope is a fun, fun song to play.
Especially when trying to get the bass fills that Nate does on the song correctly.
I heard an interview where the FFs were talking about Rope and said it was kind of their homage to Rush and that the song had a very Rush-like vibe to it. I think you certainly can feel that vibe in the groove of it. Not as easy as it seems to pull it off, either. You'll enjoy it!!
Let it Be
Done. "Auld Lang Syne".
Closely followed by "Keep Playing That Rock and Roll".
Come Together. We needed a cover to finish the set so I'm working on it. Never really played it before.
Steve Swallow's "Falling Grace"
Separate names with a comma.
