  1. well, i haven't seen this before so i am asking:

which retro-supergroup do you think is best? ( and i call them "retro-supergroups" because i don't know what else to call them)

my choices are: Chickenfoot, Black Country Communion & Them Crooked Vultures

    1. Chickenfoot is Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Chad Smith

    2. Black Country Communion is Joe Bonamassa, Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian

    3. Them Crooked Vultures is John Paul Jones, Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and (sometimes) Alain Johannes

I like 'em all, but prefer Black Country Communion...the mix of Bonamassa on guitar, Bonham on drums, and Glenn Hughes on bass is fantastic. Glenn has been around a long time. I remember him from his TRAPEZE days and there is just something about this mix of personnel that is great.

For an old guy, Hughes still has it, both his bass playing and his vocals.

any others i have left out? please tell me if so...i don't claim to know all the groups out there...am including a poll, so, don't be shy.
