Which software would be good for recording (free no trial)

    I have the audacity... But beside this program... Does exist another one like this?

    GarageBand, if you have a mac.
    There is also The Reaper which is only 65 bucks if you decide to keep it.

    +1 on Reaper. The price does not make it a toy. cEvin Key from Skinny Puppy has been using it for all his recent recordings. It's more than capable and a fully functional DAW.
