I have a MIM Fender deluxe jazz. It has the Fender active electronics and noiseless pickups.

I'm switching it to passive and need to decided whether to use the Fender CS pickups or Fralin's.

    Any help would be appreciated.

If you think there are better choices please chime in.

    Thanks.

Fralin, just my sound, but CS are killer too.

I prefer my pickups to be totally silent from unwanted noise, so I'd go with a dual in-line split-coil. I have Fender Super 55 pickups, and I love the tone, but the dual in-line split-coils are produced by many other companies including Fralin. If I were you, that's probably what I would go for. (Yes, they cost more, but they're totally worth it.)

Oh, and most of my basses are passive, just so you know.
