Will this carrying bag work for a GK 700RB-II?

I ordered a new GK 700RB-II, and it'll be in this week. I found a carrying bag that I think will work well with it. GK specs say the head is 17"W x 8.2"D x 3.5"H. The width is with rack ears off. Interior dimensions of this carrying case are 17.5"W x 13"D x 3.5"H.

It seems that there would be a little extra depth room, but the case comes with foam padding that can be adjusted to fill in space. My only concern is that the 700RB-II with the feet mounted on bottom will be slightly taller than 3.5", so do you think it would still fit the height of the case?
