The TalkBass iphone/android app is NOT WORKING currently. We're working on it. Tapatalk IS working, so if you need to use an app, use Tapatalk. Try using your browser though - TalkBass is now 100% responsive to your phone/tablet screen size ;)

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

    Hi,

I'm a recovering drummer (11 years) who's been playing bass for around 4 years, but only got really hooked in the last year and a half.

I'm a junior in college, and while my school has a great music program (we're right outside NYC, and so have fantastic, active, and experienced professors), I'm looking for ways to keep on getting better over school breaks (I know it's all about the work ethic, and I'm dead set on improving that). Anyone have suggestions for music/bass programs that meet in the summer or winter? Or alternatively, good bass teachers in the New York area?

    Thanks
