I Just replaced the stock pre in my 2012 American Deluxe Jazz V with an Aguilar OBD-1 it was a simple swap BUT what I found weird was there were 2 battery leads coming off the output jack going to the battery clips a black and a red going to the other.I installed the pre using just the black lead and running it to a single 9volt and it works perfectly but I now I have the red lead going to the second battery clip taped off and not sure what to do with it?
I know I can Dasie chain the leads to run at 18 volt but this still leaves the mysterious red wire?
Don't know of it mattes or not but the old pre had an active/passive switch and the AGy does not.
