Would like to know where to get a 9-string bass cheap

    Hey guys,

    I need to find a 9-string bass on a budget. Like $2,500 or less. Advice????

    See what Stambaugh would charge for something bare bones. I wouldn't bother with anyone cheaper than him.

    If you can't decide between a 5er or a 4er, you get a double-necked bass with each.

    Why anyone needs 9 strings baffles me. Even with two handed tapping you only have 8 fingers to use! I think anything more than 6 is pretty much useless!
