    Howdy!

I have here an Ovation Magnum IV for sale with Ovation Hardshell Case.

It's the black/gray Magnum. It's all mahogany, and features a giant humbucker and bridge pickup to go with the massive metal bridge. There's definitely MOJO locked in this bass! :bassist:

Has a brand new set of D'addario strings on it.

The original electronics are there, but luthier said they have been bypassed. I have not changed this so I cannot comment further on the integrity of the actives. They may well work, I just don't know.

The pickups are directly wired to the pickups, and it has a big warm sound. My plan had been to remove and preserve the actives, having a replacement PG made that gave me Jazz bass-style controls, or possibly replacing actives with an Audere preamp setup. Your choice!

Overall it's in good to very good shape, it's obviously been played just like any 30-something year old instrument, but nothing major. No major finish flaws, just some buckle rash and usual scratches from being played.

Neck is ebony, and is in excellent shape. The frets still have plenty of wear left and appear to have had a recent crown and polish job - they are level and shiny and have no wear dents in them.

The truss rod cover is missing a corner which I believe can be seen in one of the pictures.

[DEL]$700 plus actual shipping costs. [/DEL] $700 shipped CONUS

Method of payment: Paypal or USPS Money Order. Paypal shipment to verified addresses ONLY.

    Thanks for Looking!
