Remember the breakthrough technology of digital wireless in the early '90s with the original X-Wire XR905 Wireless System? I have one and it works great! Here's your chance to own a bit of history!

The original X-Wire systems were the choice of many top touring pro players -- today these units are still highly sought after, but are in rare supply since the company ceased production in the late '90s. Xwire was a legend in its field.

It does not alter your sound at all. There is no compounding circuitry, no frequency dialing (just pick one of five channels), no squelch, no hassle. Just plug it in and forget about it. The receiver actually contains two diversity receivers with a total of four internal antennas for exceptional performance. Battery life and signal strength indication displayed on backlit LCD and is extremely accurate. Best part - this was made in the USA.

    About XWire:
XWire was bought out by Sennheiser who was threatened by their superior technology. Sennheiser paid a handsome sum for the patents making this a classic case of the big boy gobbling up the upstart who had a better product. As a result, these units are now highly collectable and extremely coveted.

The system consists of the following components:
    • XR905 Quadiversity 20 Bit Digital Receiver for bass, or guitar (19", 2U rack mount)
    • XT905 transmitter (belt pack) Crazy tight, has never come off a strap.
    • Power supply (110/120 VAC) (unit accepts both AC and DC at 12V)
    • XLR and 1/4" output at the receiver and 1/4" input at the transmitter
    • Can be used for live performance or recording
    • Sound Mode: digital
    • Impedance: High impedance
    • Battery Life: 4 AA's provides 11 hours of time
    • Max. Transmit Range: 300 feet - Line of Site
    • Built In On/Off Switch: Yes

The system works great. I'm just moving to a much smaller, pedal board system, so I'm selling all of my racked items. FYI - These originally sold for $950 new back in the late 90's.

    NOTE:
One of the rack tabs is cracked, but was never an issue sitting in the rack as the unit is very light weight plastic and I simply put a bigger flat washer on the rack screw.

    rades considered.
