Looking to sell my Xotic XJ-1, SOLD
I would also trade for an XP-1.
XOTIC basses with Fralins are not too common anymore,* and if I'm not mistaken there is an "upcharge" for them should you want them installed in a new bass. This one has the USA Hipshot tuners, not the cheaper imported ones on the new basses that Xotic now uses.

    Body: Ash
    Body Color: Vintage White
    Neck: 21F Maple/Rosewood
    Luminova Position Markers

    Nut: Pure Bone
    Pickup: Lindy Fralin JB 4-string
    EQ: E.W.S. Tri-logic2 Bass Preamp1
    Tuner: Hip Shot Ultra light

Weighing in at just a tad under 9 lbs, This is definitely the lowest an Xotic had every been priced on Talkbass

Amazing deal. Always wanted to try one but my Lulldowsky has the perfect neck and is the best Jazz I've ever played.

Truth. Xotic far surpasses any bass I have ever owned or played.

Could anyone give me a quick run down on the pre configuration? Thanks,

Excellent deal here. I've been rocking my XJ-1T for about a year now and love it. Most versatile preamp (with usable tones) of any bass I own.

Bass, mid, treble and the Mid and Treble switches boost those settings on your Xotic.
Mini toggle switch closest to the neck or headstock is the Mids toggle (400hz/800Hz) the other toggles Treble (6Hz/12kHz) obviously turning up the treble via the three band EQ knobs will increase highs and the same for the Mids. Leaving it in the middle is flat. Can't boost flat... Or nothing rather... :) hope this answers the question.

This is a beautiful bass, and every Xotic bass that I have ever played (and there have been a few) have been a joy to play.

Tim is correct that the LullDowsky he owns is a great Jazz-style bass ... and I should know because I traded it to him! Still, this bass intrigues me; however, I just cannot justify (nor can I afford) to buy another bass.
