Yamaha is buying Line 6.

    Line 6 will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation with current management left in place (so they say).

    I been everywhere, man...
    Disclosures:
    I used 10" and 15" speakers in the same rig for over 10 years.
    As a preface, I loves me some Yamaha basses. To bass players, this merger will either mean a series of awesome new products or only just seeing some Line 6 stuff in the live rigs of Billy Sheehan, Nathan East, and maybe Lee Sklar. I'm leaning towards the latter.
