    If I was a millionaire and didn't care about money, I'd have about 20 Rics and they would all be different.... and this would be one of them.

    Wait, what? I mean, I guess I can't knock them for trying, but they introduce that over say...a 4003S? I like it, but it just seems like such an...odd choice.

    They've done maple fingerboard basses (and guitars) for decades now, depending on the model; some were painted and others were clear coated.

    The walnut headstock looks better here than it does on the Mapleglo basses. I dig it!

    Gawd I love this thing! I think the W stand for "Want" or "Wow". Either way, gorgeous.

    Not too keen on the walnut body but wouldn't mind tbat maple fingerboard on my mapleglo.
