There are 6 people in the band.

You play bass but the other 5 can be anybody you like, living or dead (It's a fantasy band).

    You are allowed:-

    Drummer
    Lead Guitar
    Rhythm Guitar
    Vocalist
    Keyboard player

    and yourself on bass.

Who would they be and what would you all be playing?

    Mine:-

    Drums :- Ringo Starr
    Lead Guitar:- Walter Becker
    Rhythm Guitar:- Robbie Krieger
    Vocalist:- Dianna Krall
    Keyboards:- Donald Fagen
    Bass:- Me

We'd be doing Smooth Latin Jazz and covers of songs such as "Girl From Ipanema"

I'd love to play bass for Testament. That's pretty much everyone I ever would love to play with has been in that band. I could pull it off too. Greg and Steve are both my heroes tho.

I'd clone myself five times, always wanted to try other instruments.

Of course I'd be so bad I'd then immediately have to fire myself five times. :)

I don't know. I guess don't believe in supergroups (well me being in it would make it non super...) I believe if I put together my favorite musicians they would probably make very disappointing music together. Even more so once you add me to the equation.

  11. Sacrilege, perhaps, but here goes:

    Vox: Ronnie Van Zant
    Lead guitar: Steve Gaines
    Rhythm guitar: Allen Collins
    Keys: Billy Powell
    Drums: Artimus Pyle

    :bag: :D

    Keyboards - Rick Wakeman
    Guitar - Steve Howe
    Bass - Me!
Maybe 2nd Guitar - Trevor Rabin

Hmmm... Just off the top of my head (and of course after I type it, I'll probably think of other choices!):

    Drummer: Kenny Aronoff
    Lead Guitar: Eric Clapton
    Rhythm Guitar: John Lennon
    Vocalist: Rod Stewart
    Keyboard player: Gregg Allman

Note: This is assuming that they are all in their prime. And I figure that John & Gregg can also trade off with Rod on vocals! ;)

    Optional Lineup:

    Drums: Ringo Starr
    Lead Guitar: Gary Moore
    Rhythm Guitar: Steve Marriott
    Vocals: Paul McCartney
    Keys: Billy Preston
