I am looking for a 1970's Fender jazz bass with the ash body and block inlay neck. Let me know what you have. I might consider a re-issue MIJ 75 for a cheap price, but a real 70's is my first choice.

I have a MIJ Marcus Miller J-bass...modelled after a 70's bass, and it's got the block inlays...PM if you are interested.

No thanks. have already owned and sold a MM Jazz. Have decided that jazz bass wasn't my thing since originally posting this last november

I know of a local place that has a '71 for sale, but it is an alder body and about $1900. Sunburst with all original hardware. The rarity is, it has a maple fretboard with black blocks and black binding. Mojo!
