So this may be a long shot, but its worth a try.
I just picked this up because it was a great deal..but I really need a jazz neck.(I lost my left index finger 5 yrs ago)
I have had several jazz basses, but I can't bond with new stuff.
I would trade this bass and cash, up to 500$ for a lighter 70's Jazz.
re-fins are Ok (Less cash added).
This P sounds better than the other 2 I have owned, very clear, yet thumpy. Lots of wear, can't see in the pics, but lots of little dings near the arm wear.
No case or covers, but all the screws are there for the covers.
Weighs 9.5-10.5 using the bathroom scale method.
I also like the older style Fender before the serial number went on the headstock (Pre '76).
The neck is not big for a P, at 1 5/8" at the nut.
I am in Canada so your bass would need to be shipped neck off USPS so if you have one with an original case, you can keep the case for the P.
