Ok my 1988 Musicman Stingray is awesome & hands down the best ray I've ever played & the lightest. Neck is awesome & super fast believe it or not & dosn't have a nick on it. The body has a few typical chips & belt rash. Other than that it has super low action & no fret buzz, alot of growl & punch in this one & all original. I will trade for a jazz bass from Fender, G&L, or any other jazz type bass builder or you can get her for $1000.

For those who wanted to know the string height is high here because I'm tuned B, F#, B, E for my Metal Dooooooooom project. The guys in this band hate the Ray because it takes up all the sonic space tuned this low. If you go down 7 post you will see my set up for my Folk/Indie band which is just in drop D. Yes, on the real it's got super low buzz free action.

The neck is nothing like new Stingrays. Besides the awesome tone thats why I got it. I couldn't believe it myself when I played it. This neck is faster than you would believe & almost plays itself I can stop thinking so much about what I'm doing & let my fingers run the board with ease.

Ooh...the first bass that I ever REALLY wanted when I started playing bass....and in my birth year. The fast neck is intriguing too... I wish I had $1000.

Edit: didn't notice you had it set up for drop B (exactly what I play). I bought an ibanez srx590 a couple years ago in an attempt to get as close as I could to the music man sound. Man I wish I had the money...
