There is someone selling a couple EA 12" speakers on the FOR SALE page.

I might have an Aguilar GS-210 coming soon that I'd consider selling. I'm also pushing the idea around of selling my SWR SM-400s, but I'm not in a hurry at all for that.

Just out of curiousity, what kind of music are you playing and what sound are you looking for in an amp/cab setup?

Good thing you asked, I almost forgot to mention.
I play mostly hard rock band-wise so i'm looking for something with a mixture of good bottom end(feel in the stomach kind-ideal, doubt i can get that with a 12inch or 2x10 but I'm trying) but also clear enough to be heard(not just felt) through 2 distorted guitarists(marshall half stack and line 6 spyder). Also I love to play jazz(upright bass) and funk and love a lot of punch too.
So versatility is pretty key as my tastes run all over the spectrum.

I'm contemplating whether I will have enough air to move(speaker wise) with the amp I'm seriously considering...and wonder the benefits of 2x10 versus 1x12. 2x10 will most likely be louder but a bit heavier. I'm not too worried about weight(as long as its not 80 lbs) as long as its portable(handles, etc.). And I won't need to worry about bottom end(i've been told 12inch are somewhere in between the punch of 10in and bottom end of 15 in) if I find a 2x10 with enough bottom end.
All of this depends on my exploits in the New Haven area on Thursday afternoon when I'll have a chance to play some fine amps.

Well, since you're going for Rock and will most likely be playing with a heavy handed drummer, if you're only getting one cab. I'd say go 210 rather than 112. You will get more stage volume out of the 210 and unless you're married to your low B string, you should get pretty flat response out of the cab.

If you can swing it, it might be good just to get a really powerful amp (more money) and an Avatar cab. The Avatar's are great budget cabs, but are rather inefficient, so you'll need a ton of power to get them to work in a band situation. They do sound pretty good though for rock purposes.

I have a used Aguilar GS 210 that I'll let go for $385 shipped. It is fairly sensitive and has a great "rock" tone to it.
