HEAVY brass bridge-comments- ahem.....
In preparation of modifying a p-bass copy I bought this HEAVY brass bridge from a fellow TB member When I receive the bass Lo and behold under the ashtray there is already a HEAVY brass bridge on it!!!
The original post said:
"fits standard Fender, but has two additional holes if you want to use them."
While the spacing is correct east to west the location of the screws north to south are different and at their souternmost location you might have to use the two screws to hold the whole thing tightly in place, relocate the bridge position or trim those saddle screws.
the grind/wear screws for the E and G can be seen in the original pic at bottom.
that white stuff that looks like coke or toothpaste comes off with fingernail scraping. If I was to keep it I would shine it up and engrave something tough on it in the place where the other bridge says badass this would say "Brush Daily" or "farts are always funny"
