My favorite Fenders in many years, these Dimensions were discontinued a few years back and my understanding of modern corporate America is further clouded as a result. A very musical 3-band EQ and five-way switching gives this stick more sounds than I’ve ever needed, currently strung with Cobalts for extra sauce. A bit of a horse at 10.4 pounds, basses in that range are normally my preference but I accept that they aren’t for many people. Great grained ash body and a nice dark rosewood board, this is a foxy bass.
