I am selling a Knilling 3/4 Bucharest model upright bass.

The bass has had only one "accident." It was knocked over while it was laying on it's side during a jazz band rehearsal and a crack was put in the top under the E-string side F-hole. Luckily, the bass was insured so I was able to have a complete repair done. The top was taken off, the crack was cleaned out, re-glued, then reinforced with small diamond-shape braces. The repair was done by John Michael Smith, a fantastic bass repairman in St. Paul, MN. He told me that the crack occurred in a spot that would not severely hurt the sound of the bass and that there is very little chance of the crack ever reopening. He did a beautiful job.
Other than that, there isn't really any abnormal wear. Just what you would expect from a bass that has been played a lot for 4 years.
Sorry, a pickup is not included in the purchase of this bass.
I will not ship, so if you are interested, you will have to pick it up. I live about half an hour north of the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area. If you are interested in trying it out before purchase, that can be arranged.
I have many pictures of the bass and can get you any picture you would like.
