FS: 5-String Merchant Vertical Bass (electric upright) Full 3/4 size maple neck, really nice ebony fingerboard, 41" scale, mahogany body. Electronics: Barbera transducer bridge pickup with volume pot. Also includes an Underwood pickup I sometimes switch off with. Adjustable bridge. Removable upper right bout. Grover tuners. Thomastik weich except for the low B, which is wein.
Excellent condition. Note: has a number of small screw holes made by previous owner on the back and sides of the instrument to mount a brace he used to help balance it when sitting. I removed it. Bill Merchant filled and refinished the holes when he serviced the bass after I purchased it. Hard to see, no effect structurally, but I feel I should mention it.
