I have a nice 73 Precision with a maple A neck. I prefer the Rosewood C neck, and also prefer the pre-CBS Precisions, therefore I'd like to sell or trade up. Fair market on my 73 seems to hover at $2000. I am a player, not a collector, and therefore will consider Ps which may not be entirely original, as long as the assembly of parts works to provide the big fat Fender tone. I will consider only Fender Precision prior to 1970 with Rosewood C neck. Cosmetics not a big issue, though I do like the Fiesta Red and Olympic White. My bass does not have the original case, but comes with a very sturdy TKL of period correct appearance.
I have cash to supplement a trade if needed. I have plenty of photos.
