I'm getting an American Standard Jazz 5 so I'm selling my two Squiers , both really good basses .
First is my Vintage modified Jazz 5 . Very good condition , looks almost new , can't find much wear but it has been played some . Neck and frets are good and the trussrod works fine . The Duncan designed pickups sound great and the controls all work fine too . The G-string saddle on the bridge is stripped but is still adjusts , I was going to get a new saddle but ran out of time . Otherwise everything works like it should . Just mentioning the bridge for full disclosure . Plays well with medium low action . Don't have a scale but it's about 10 pounds , not an anchor but not too heavy like some of these can be .
$200 shipped . I can't do paypal , prefer USPS money orders . No case or bag but will be packed very well in the original box .
Next is my new Affinity Jazz 5 . It also plays and sounds great like a good Jazz 5 should . I put a custom pickguard on it from WD music and think it looks really cool . I'll include the white pickguard with it too . I've shielded the control cavity , the pickups routes and the pickguard with copper foil , it's pretty quiet for a Jazz with single coils . I also oiled the fretboard , filed the fret ends and adjusted the pickup height to Fender specs . This one is a little lighter than the VM5 , probably 9 pounds .
