I have up for sale this beautiful Fodera NYC.
The specs:
Year of make: 2006
Nr. of strings: 5
Color: black
Body: alder
Neck: 3 pcs maple/rose wood (beautiful grain) Tilted headstock
Scale: 35" (this is not very common!)
Weight:
not sure yet but not real heavy
Condition:
Really light wear so overall in great shape!
Some mods where done:
- Brass nut instead of platic like the Emperor has.
- Dunlop flushmount straplocks
- Clear pickguard made by the pickguardian in USA,
plus the original white guard that has the signature of Mr. Gerald Veasely on it, he signed it specially for me.
Pickups:
Seymour Duncan Jazz
Pre-amp:
Michael Pope 2 band, today dont dont have that anymore.
Hardware:
All fodera hardware in black.
This bass is absolutely one of the best NYC's I have come across. I bought this in the states Philadelphia , it sounds as good as the more expensive Fodera's also Gerald Veasely told me so I met him when I was purchasing this instrument. Actualy I'm hesitant to let this go, but for some reason I play more on my simple 71's Jazz Bass.
And this bass is too costly to be laying around, plus its to expensive to take to jam sessions.
It has great Jaco tones and absolutely loooove the slap tone its a killer but I am not much of a slap kinda guy:S!!!
I'll put some sound clips up and some pictures, also of the signed guard.
I would like to have around 2700 euros for it and believe me its worth every darn penny! It's not that I'm pressured in any way to sell it but let's see if theres any interest.
Willing to ship to Germany Belgium Sacandinavian Countries and England the rest is a bit more risky I can do it but its your problem when something goes wrong.
Take care
pics and sound clip will be up shortly
