'95 G&L SB2. Premium model with a swamp ash body and trans green finish. It has a rosewood fretboard and a black pickguard. The pickguard is cracked in the usual spot for these guys.
The bass has a few dings and scratches but over all it's in great condition for it's age. I got it from toddtodd awhile back and while we had a few problems, I will state here in public that I apologise to him for the problems and hope he's happy with the bass he traded me this for.
There was some concern from a gentleman here on TB awhile back that thought that the fretboard was separating from the body. I took the bass to my tech and he said it's just fine. I just wanted to put that out there.
The bass has HUGE output and sounds great. It really cuts through the mix and has a nice variety of sounds. For those of you who are unaware, the controls on these basses are P volume - J volume. No tone. If you just use the p pickup you get great p-bass tone with a bit more output than my fender p. If you dial in a little bit of the j-pickup you get some great growl out of it.
The bass also comes with a very nice G&L padded gig bag which has the G&L logo embroidered on the front pocket.
$425 shipped in the lower 48. Sorry, no sales to anyone outside of the US. (sorry guys!)
