For sale FS: Allparts neck - Tele headstock, rounded heel

Free

Details

Well, I've had this for a good while & haven't done anything with it, so it needs to go.

I bought it off eBay as a new neck. IMO it looks like the seller took a standard Allparts Jazz neck and reshaped the headstock, and re-sold it to me. My fault for not doing the research on the Allparts website first! I don't think that makes it a bad neck, although I am pretty critical & will try to list all of the little flaws/imperfections in the interest of disclosure to any potential buyers.

I would have used it anyway except a) I never bought a body for it - and b) I'm hooked on Precision necks & Jazzes seem too skinny for me now.

Asking $135 shipped in the ConUSA. Postal M.O. only, please.

--------------------
Specs:
--------------------
-> 20 Frets

-> 'Telecaster' style headstock

-> Rounded heel to fit standard Fender neck pockets

-> 1-9/16" @ the nut

-> Headstock tuner holes are 11/16"

-> Manufactured by Allparts

-> I was told the frets had been leveled, but the neck has never been installed so I can't tell it as a fact.

--------------------
Couple of minor issues:
--------------------
-> Nut will need to be re-glued.

-> Finish was purported to be a brushed-on varnish (a little sloppy IMO around the 15th-19th fret area).

-> 2 *minor* dings on the fretboard - one each on the last 2 fret areas on the body end (would not show in photos - not very noticeable in person either, but there nonetheless).

-> Some *light* scuffing of the fretboard at the 16th-17th fret area. I could not get it to show in photos.

-> There is also a little scuffing along the edge of the headstock (see last pic).

Overall, it would be good for someone who has a little more experience/ambition than I do (and who might not be as super-critical as I can sometimes be :help:).

PM me if you have questions.
