SOLD
I picked this up a few months ago and it's a very nice bass, but I find that I never play it. That's a shame, because it's a great player with a slender neck and a thunderous sound. You don't often find neck-through basses for under $300 very often!
This is from the period when Fender had purchased Guild and inherited the DeArmond name with it. It's a neck-through, active bass in 35" scale. It has contrasting colored woods in the neck and body, as you can see from the pix....and of course, that unique Guild body shape!
If you'd like to play down-tuning games with the E string, this would be a good bass for it because it's a 35" scale. The oiled finish has a bit of wear in the area where your playing hand falls, but oil is easy to renew...or you could use Tru-Oil and get a harder finish if you wish. The body is in nice shape with a couple of dings, but there is no significant damage. All electronics and hardware work perfectly.
I want $200 for the bass, with shipping extra. (Firm price.) I'll work with you to find the most economical shipping method. I may be kicking myself in a few months for letting this go, but it makes sense to do so.
This is also posted on the Denver Craigslist, so move fast if you like the bass. The bass is in Fort Collins, 60 miles north of Denver.
