FS $100 shipped to lower 48 OBO
FT: lemme know what you got, the worst I can say is no. Multieffects units, compressors, loopers, DI boxes or preamps interest me at the moment.

Excellent to great condition (some minor scuff marks) - I baby my equipment but also didn't use this much.

Comes with original box, AC Adapter, manual, and 2GB extra memory card (in addition to the original small compact flash card). If interested, I'll throw in the MR8 soft case (which is a bit beat up as I used it to transport an amp that was a little too big for the case.

Below is the description. PM for questions.

The MR-8 from Fostex can record up to 8 tracks of uncompressed digital audio (2 tracks at a time), to convenient Compact Flash media cards. The MR-8 also features easy to use built in effects and two XLR inputs for plugging in your microphones (a microphone "modeler" is built in). The MR-8 also features regular 1/4" jacks for plugging in keyboards or guitars/basses, and includes an Amplifier Simulator for realistic distortion sounds and amp models.

Fostex has designed the MR-8 to be as easy to use as possible, with most buttons and switches performing only one operation (no "menus" to page through!). This means that even if you are new to digital recording, you can start using the MR-8 right away!

The MR-8 records to Compact Flash media cards (1 128K card is included for 25 track minutes of time), and can be BATTERY operated (2 hours of continuos use on 6 AA batteries). The MR-8 also comes with a power supply for normal operation.

Free bump...I have one of these, and get a lot of use out of it. It does a good job when you want to lay down several tracks, but I found it was great for recording practices and also for recording our live shows.

One thing I found is that you can pull a line from the soundboard, and also have a mic to catch audience noise/applause, and get a great document of one of your shows.

You can dump the files straight to your computer, where you can use whatever software you like to sweeten them up. I generally use a 2GB card with it...more than enough for the longest shows.
