I got this guitar a couple of years ago with the intent of finally sitting down and seriously learning how to play... the "sitting down" part is the problem... this is a really cool guitar that i love, but the shape makes it not a very good "beginner guitar" for me.
It's a really cool variation on the classic Flying V, with black satin nitro finish, ebony fretboard (no inlays except for a moon/star on the 12th fret) black hardware, black single-ply plastic pick guard, truss rod cover, and jack plate. Gibson USA 496R and 500T pickups. Solid mahogany body and neck.
All electronics are perfect, neck is straight, tuners are great, bridge and tailpiece adjust smoothly and easily, very little fret wear.
There is a little cosmetic damage, as this was the previous owner's main gigging axe for a while. It's all pictured below. The only things that might not be obvious are the chipped volume knob (first one, closest to the bridge), and some minor dings in the front of the body.
Serial#: 01290703
I'm looking to get $600-700. I'll consider trading for a Gibson SG. I'll ship anywhere in the CONUS.
