Sold (thanks Koushaku!)!

As much as this PAINS me, I'm considering selling or trading my head, rack, tuner and power conditioner as one unit. I have a bad back and at a combined weight of about 45 - 50 lbs with the head, rack, tuner and power conditioner, it's a little much for me to haul. I'd consider trading it for something class D and/or light weight (think Epifani, EA, T-Funk, etc). I'd be willing to kick in some cash if needed.

Check my feedback in the feedback forum. I've bought and sold lots of gear to TBers and have never had an issue as noted in the feedback forum.

The rig consists of:
Gemini PL-100 Power Conditioner with Line Voltage Meter
Sabine RT-7000 Rack Tuner
Kustom Groove 1200HD Head (1200 watts)
Gator Heavy Duty 4 Space Rack Bag (about the best rack bag I've ever seen or used).

If you prefer, I also have a Gator 4 space hard rack with a pull out handle and wheels (tilt back and go) that's in fair to good shape, that I'd give you instead of the rack bag.

All of the above was purchased within the last 7 months and is in perfect condition (a few minor scratches on the power conditioner). I have all of the manuals and documentation for everything. The head was just registered with Kustom for a 3 yr warranty in July. If you just want to buy all of these items instead of trade, $700 shipped (lower 48 states ONLY!). I will not break these up to sell individually!

Sabine RT7000 Rack Tuner:

Swoop LED Display: Gives you the best visual cue for easy tuning, especially from a distance. It works like a bar graph of your pitch, sweeping up for sharp & down for flat.

Bright & Easy to Read: Huge note indicator is visible from across the stage, even if you’re wearing shades!

Dual Tuning Modes: Standard Mode gives you a bar graph reading of your pitch. Strobe Mode shows moving sweep of pitch. Both are more accurate than conventional needle-style LED displays.

Two independent channels: Select on front panel or with foot switch.
A/B Switching: The RT7000 gives you multiple tuner channels for mulitple instruments!

Flat Tune: Set the tuner to any of four different flat tunings: 1/2, 1, 11/2, or 2 steps below standard pitch. Play and tune your guitar normally but at a lower overall pitch!

Calibration: Change the overall calibration of the tuner from 435 to 445 Hz.

Mute: Mute your instrument for silent tuning — select on front panel or with foot switch.

Output Jacks: Back panel input/output jacks.

Automatic Note & Sharp/Flat Sensing
Chromatic: 7-Octave range, perfect for guitar and bass; works all the way down to a low A!

Heavy-Duty Metal Case: Built for heavy road use.
Built-in power supply

Again, she's not gone yet. Believe me, I'm struggling with it. Maybe do some more physical therepy to get the back muscles up to snuff. I'm 6'4" and fairly raily. Us tall and thin guys usually have back probs as we get older. Sucks...

I feel ya....back problems are no joke. BTW any reason you're not using the roller rack? Seems to me that would prevent shoulder carrying 45-55lbs of gear.

I don't like hard racks, they tend to transmit a lot more shock than soft racks plus a hell of a lots of shock and vibration would go to the head if I rolled it up and down cracks in the sidewalk, etc and I don't treat my gear like that. We will see if it even sells because I'm asking a bit more than most because of the extras it comes with (Rack tuner, power cond, rack bag or roller rack) and I'm not willing to let it go for much less, so I may have it for a while anyway and just have to continue to deal with my back issues (or stepup the PT).

Makes plenty of sense. Good luck, Quad!

This might be a stupid question, but why don't you just use the Groovebass and a 2 space rack? Is it THAT heavy?

That's what I did with my Sunn. Amp in one rack and PC/Tuner in another. Really lightened the overall load and made it very easy to transport.

THe tuner and power conditioner are prob about 10 lbs or so plus another 5 or more for the rack bag + 31 for the head brings it into the 45 - 50 bls range. I will prob just end up keeping the head and dealing with it, but it's out here for now...
