The first 5 were made with all NOS parts -- same component layout, correct transistors (BC184C) and tropical fish caps.
The second batch of 25, he did away with the NOS parts.
I think the third batch (of 6 or so? I can't remember) was the same as the second.
It's a Jumbo Tone Bender, which is essentially a muff minus a gain stage. Turn th etone down and you get clean signal bleedthrough, so its a good bass fuzz.

I used the old tropical fish caps in the first five I built and then new caps in all but a few of the rest of them. Everything else is the same. Either way, I'm seeing them come up for sale less and less frequently and I don't plan on building more.
It's my favorite bass fuzz. Even better on bass than guitar imo.
