For sale I want your Matsumoku Bass

Do you by chance know this? I have a westone pantera x750. You can see it here: www.traceman.com/westone
The top pickup does not sound right. It has a mild distorted tone and also is about half the volume of the other pickup. The pickup was not working at all when I got the bass so I did some investigating and found one of the wires was either shorting out or was not making a good connection. So now it is kind of working. Do you have any westone pickups laying around or can the pickup be replaced. That is why i sent you a link so you can look at it. It is a nice bass and the bottom pickup sounds great. any help would be great!

Hey there. Sorry but I cannot offer you any first hand advice-- I am a remarkably un-technical person when it comes to basses.

However, I would suggest you go to www.therathole.org. The guy who hosts this site is a Matsumoku junkie like me with a lot of knowledge and links. I would also suggest you do some google searches under westone and bass as there are quite a few fan sites out there that may have specs. Also, I believe Westone is still in business in some iteration and they may be able to offer some guidance.
