Kustom KXB500 head
manual: https://www.kustom.com/media/catalog/product/manuals/kxb500_manual.pdf
This is a great amp and I've had it since I bought it new back when. I've pretty much just used it as a headphone amp for a long, long time and have decided to move to a non-amp headphone amp solution for quieter operation (no fan) and hopefully usb-powered operation since I do all my home practice with a PC or chromebook. Plus I haven't done a gig that required more than my Carvin BX250 or TC Electronics BAM200 in years so keeping a Carvin BX500 around will take care of me if I ever do something that requires a 'bigger amp'.
It's in very good condition - some dust and a small amount of marking/scratching from being stacked with my other similar amps over the years. It was never my main gig amp and has only left the house a few times - I always preferred the tone of my Carvin BX amps when playing live so those almost always made the trip and this one stayed home. I checked out the controls and no scratchiness in the knobs and they all function/work as expected.
small-ish, light-ish class D - easy to cart around and a nice clear, warm tone.
$350 shipped lower 48 $300 +shipping shipped lower 48, paypal OK (of course)
The only trades I can think of are:
- Traynor SB200H
- Genz Benz STL12t extension cab
- Torino Green Gretsch G2220 Junior Jet (7.75 lbs or less)
- Steinberger Spirit XZ-2
