For sale looking for a fender mustang

Here's a quick search from EBay... The one with the BIN of $399 is pretty heavily modified and not worth the ducketts IMO... Actually, they're all a bit pricey, probably due to the recent re-issues and the resulting interest.

You might also want to search on Musicmaster's and Bronco's... Both fine short-scale offerings from Fender. I have a '78 Musicmaster that is a fine player. I also have a short-scale Danelectro that is the essence of cheap-ness and an incredible sounding bass at the same time... Both of these see regular gig-time...

In fact, the last few times that I was in Tigard Music, they had a little Squier Bronco that had mucho potential, for something like $200... Very decent sound, lightweight, and the maple fingerboard strikes a nice chord with me... Hmm, maybe I'll have to run back there and see if it's still around
