Check out David and Joel at the
Groove Shoppe. I have bought 3
Fodera's. Two from David when he
was working at Fodera and a used
Emperor from Joel. They are
great guys! They are THE guys to
talk to when you are looking for
a Fodera (IMO)!!!

thanks dan,
tottally new to the messageboard thing, hope i got it right. checked out the grooveshop like you said, very cool but i realized i'd rather find one out there looking for a good fixing up and a home. The thrill is in the chase i guess!
thanks agian and im looking foward to the message board. ive just got to get through all me emails and replies.
thanks again.

Even though it's expensive i found this pretty cool looking Fodera. I like the simple look, i think some of the other Fodera's are a bit too fancy.

I'd personally recommend The Groove Shoppe as well. When it comes to getting a Fodera bass I say "why mess around" and go straight to the best place to know you are getting a great bass. David knows Foderas like nobody's business and I can vouch that he is a great guy on top of it all.

Frankly if you find one that "needs work" I would probably want to avoid it.

thanks for your input. this has been great...havent found many guitars yet but im enjoying the hell out of it!.
theres always SOMTHING to play around here, the more i think about getting a fodera the more im tending toward somthing played, a little worn. if all ya'll play you know you can feel the warmth of use under your hands, theres alot to be said for a little age.

im gonna have fun pokin around and see what pops up.
i'll let yous know, and thanks again

Strange - I can hear that bass calling my name. Please tell me that this is not languishing in a shop somewhere. I do NOT need a GAS attack

Everything Jared said about the groove shoppe I say about www.bassalone.com

John Dimaggio is a great guy and extemely helpful and fast with shipping.

I recommend him unequivocably based on my person experiences with him!

Jared, one of these days I'll get pics to you of my Fodera. My camera was "borrowed" at Xmas time and I haven't gotten it back yet, plus I've bee overwhelmed by an elder care situation in the family. I'll get to it one day!

sorry oddio I sound that pic somewhere online and can't remember where. Maybe it was the low end or something. I think that is the most beautiful fodera I've ever seen! I also think that this Zon comes pretty close though...

mmmmmm.....

I am pretty sure that someone here on the TB boards owns that very handsome blue fodera posted above...that lucky bastard...

;)

Hey man,
Talk to Gard on here, he is a member of this forum and works for Bass Central in Orlando. He just helped me with a great buy in a new Fodera Bolt on 4 Monarch. They have one more in a JJ config. and you probably could score it for the same price you are looking at paying for a decent used one. Better hurry though, I think they are ending their sale at the end of the month.
