Just curious, why must you have the relief adjustment?

The modulus basses w/o relief adjustment can be hit or miss. I've had several, and most had very good relief. A couple, however, had a little more than I would typically desire.

If the amount of relief is good for you, it should stay that way in most situations for a considerable length of time, but if there is too much or too little relief, you're pretty much stuck with it. If you have too much relief, about the only solution would be to replace the neck or plane the fingerboard.
