So yesterday I come home from work to find the final shipment of my monster p bass build up on my front porch. I work on the bass untill midnight, and go fire up my amp (Ampeg SVT III PRO), and I get nada. A loud "GRRRRRR" then comes from the innards of the amp (not the speakers) then a pop, and a nice smell.
I need a new amp ASAP. Have cash now. I'd love to get another III pro, a SVT IV pro or a Mesa 400+.
