I recently purchased a New Standard LaScala and had Arnold put Obligatos on it for me. After about 3 weeks I decided to try some other strings and found something better for that bass. These Obli's were used only for 3 weeks - maybe an hour or two a day on average and about 5 or 6 gigs.
