i have for sale one peerless 759 woofer in excellent condition.
i purchased this off theBAY a year and a half ago in hopes that i would build a version of len moskowitz's "compact bass cabinet"- a cool little acme b1-esque cab. i built a rough mockup "scratch" cab and decided that i would really rather get a cab i could gig with instead of having a sole-use home practice cab. (thinking 1x12)
We have a little one on the way, and I need to economize space.
The driver has been kept in a box in a closet until i mounted it in the rough cab, therefore it is not brand new. it comes with a fine mesh grill cover. It works great, and hass nice clean low tight sound. It's been played for about 1 hour total. Never abused at all, and never driven past 105 dB.
I paid about 50 or so for it, and would ike to get something in the vincinity, though its going one way or the other (here or ebay) and i prefer to sell to a TB-er than to a civilian on ebay. SO, all reasonable offers entertained.
The 759 is no longer made, and is 4 ohm 200 watts 91 db sensitivity. i have all TS specs and links to Len's designs somewhere, if you want them and are interested i will find it.
It's a cool prject.
I also have 2 of the appropriate midrange drivers (also peerless) i begged a fellow TB-er to sell me some months ago, and they are both fully functional. one has had the plastic housing trimmed (as Len did ) and the other is untouched. As far as i know, these were never actually installed in anything. I barely looked at them. I prefer to keep these for a future project, but i would sell one if you ask nice.
I have the crossovers, but they are small and i think i will keep them for th future as well. Unless...
I have a PVC pipe i used a a port in the rough cab, and you are welcome to it for free if you want. iits 4" x 15" . the rest of the pipe is in my yard draining runnoff water as we speak. You cant have that peice.
